Here's your statement piece! It's made from a silverplate tray handle. The elegant "V" shape brought the word Valkyrie to mind.  I cleaned, polished and set 4 grey crystals in the necklace.  The black cord necklace is adjustable.  The shield necklace is 22"-24" long. The shield measures 4" wide and 2" long.  Enjoy!

 

To be called a valkyrie means to be a fierce, strong, and courageous woman, referencing figures from Norse mythology who were warrior maidens and attendants of the god Odin. In myths, they would choose which fallen warriors deserved to go to the afterlife in Valhalla. Today, the name is used to describe women who embody these traits, symbolizing bravery, strength, and honor in battle or other aspects of life.
