I've made elephants from plain salad forks, but when I saw this wonderful pattern from 1921 called Grosvenor, the decorated fork immediately reminded me of the Hindu god Ganesha.
The crystal I used reflects like alexandrite. No two are ever the same. I try to make them the same, but the salad fork decides what it wants the elephant to look like. Up Cycled and hand crafted one at a time by hand from vintage silver plate flatware in Dryden, New York.
Please specify silver snake chain length at check out: 16", 18", 20", 22".
Your elephant includes, individually wrapped polishing cloth, organza gift bag, business card, Story about Alta, and a Greater Ithaca Art Trail brochure. I cut, drill, finish, bend, clean, polish, assemble and burnish each piece in my basement studio. Open by appointment.
